York
We arrived in York last night and had a wonderful Indian feast, courtesy of the tour. This morning we toured Yorkminster, a beautiful cathedral built in the 12th century. This blip is of a beautiful window that our tour guide explained to us. Apparently it creates a link from Jesus back to King Solomon. Wonderful local guide for this place. Brought the windows and the history to life. This afternoon, after a yummy lunch of lamb and rosemary meatballs and a variety of small salads, we went to the Yorkshire Museum, an archeology museum about the Vikings and Romans. Very interesting. Now at the hotel to rest our feet.
