Sea Pinks
The cliffs are beautiful at the moment, great drifts of sea pinks, blue squill and primroses clinging to the edge, and little pockets of wild violets tucked in at the base of the wall.
Along the edge of the heather the yellow and red of bird's foot trefoil, Eggs and Bacon or Lords and Ladies to use its common names, is just coming into flower too.
Lots of terns screeching overhead, and skylarks making a much nicer noise! The farmers are all busy spreading fertiliser, huge great tractors and trailers thundering across the fields . . . The good weather brings them out!
