I didn't want to blip more children's art but nothing else caught my eye today. The children painted the poppies onto collage backgrounds they made last week.  They have glued scrunched newspaper onto card and they added paint in a way that made the card look old.  We all agreed the poppies looked effective because they drew carefully and blended their colours when painting.  We don't always agree because my expectations are very high.  This is work by eleven and twelve year old's.  At our school they do a major study of the ANZAC history so this is my contribution.  I hope the teachers will use them to compliment some written work.  I won't hold my breath.
