Lady's Slipper

Cypripedioideae,  Apparently in the orchid family. Another walk at my favorite conservation area and bunches of these in little clumps all over.  I do believe they are protected and so we carefully stepped around them next to the path. 

Presenting at a meeting of Compassionate Friends tonight - a bit nervous.  I've been asked to tell the story of my daughter and her struggles with addiction and about the grief group we are giving for other parents.  Hope I can remember a coherent story!
