Brave Blackbird

I've had the heating on since mid-afternoon when the temperature struggled to 9C before dropping away. It has been raining for about 24 hours now and shows no sign of stopping.

So, this photo was taken through glass as this brave female blackbird came for some scraps I'd put out.

I still got my 10,000 steps in by walking around shopping centres away from the weather. Funnily enough, I do the same on hot days in Brisbane to take advantage of the cool air-conditioning.
