Not Minty

Sacre bleu! I'm back at Pookie-and-Minty's for a week and there's no sign of the latter. He's away playing with some canine pals and won't be back till later.

Penny the gardener was here with her two cavs when I arrived, and we sat out in the warm sunshine with a cold drink once I'd unpacked. Darcy took shelter in the shade under the table.

I've added an extra of my friend Moe from yesterday. (I didn't want to post it without her permission and I didn't get that until this morning.) I first met her 40+ years ago, when she and another pal, David, used to sing in a folk trio with the ex-Laird MacFreuchie. She still sings, although nowadays it's with her second husband, and they travel to gigs all over the world. She gave me a copy of their latest cd yesterday - it's great!
