A friend in need is a friend

All of my best friends are ones that I initially met online. Some of those who I consider to be my best friends, I have not actually met in real life yet.  There are those who disregard such relationships and consider some of us to be sad and misguided individuals but I maintain that the bonds are real and there have been many times when I have been grateful for such friends stepping forward at times of need. There have been needs far greater than this one but I will always be grateful to Katie for sending me this skein of yarn for my blanket. It arrived in today's post, as did a box of the same yarn from Liz, to whom I am also most grateful.
