Balls Up

Many people pass the clock tower in the centre of Brighton without realising one very interesting fact... well, two. First is was built by Magnus Volk, he of the Volk's Railway fame. Secondly, on the hour, every hour, the gold ball will rise up the mast before dropping down again.
