Foggy dawn
Woken at 3.30am by an eerie light seeping through the curtains. Thick early morning mist! Not that common in these parts. An hour to sunrise so worth going out to see what the light was up too.
The extras show how the light shifted in the space of twenty minutes. There's a woman walking a dog in the first and the bands of colour include sea in the foreground with the mist obscuring the far bank where the fire was blazing the other day. The little posy was on the bench where a more elaborate memorial bouquet is often laid.
Now I'm a bit bleary and off to bask at the sit spot, or maybe a little gentle gardening under the now blazing sun.
