Low Tech

Low tech, high tech, it's all blooming useless tech when it doesn't work. My Microsoft Word on my Mac has given up the will to open half way through some business critical (for me) work for a waiting client. I had to get some paper for the printer earlier and this basic outlet in the depths of a towering decrepit building has a certain primeval appeal to me. Maybe I should just have bought a pencil to go with the paper, an envelope and a stamp to send handwritten output to my client!

Writing this while interacting with my helpful on-line fixer from Microsoft. I think an upgrade will be the only way forward!

This fix is going to need 24 hours more of upgrading and downloading . . .
