Waiting for the Ferry

Despite the photo evidence, there was much excitement today as we packed up the car to head down to Cornwall to see our friends Matt and Claire and their lovely boys Morgan and Logan.

We left just after lunch so that Tobes could still go to rugby. He had lots of fun and got a certificate today. I made a quick trip to the yard to check and feed lime and poo pick the field.

We arrived at Matt and Claire's new pad about 6pm. Tobes was desperately trying to sleep from Bristol onwards but was excited about the ferry crossing. As it was he fell asleep just as we came into Plymouth.

The new house is fab, set up on the hill with panoramic views around and so much space. So lovely to see Terry and Wilma again too.

We had an amazing dinner if pulled pork and started catching up on three years over a glass of wine. Good times.
