Loweswater

Our first full day at Lakeland Photographic Holidays.

I woke up to an unexpected and lovely mist over the hills.  My first photo of the day was taken from my bedroom window about one minute after getting out of bed.

The whole day was sunny and warm - really lovely.  The group drove down to Loweswater (trying to avoid the bulk of the bank holiday crowds) and we had a pleasant stroll round the lake.  I was getting more familiar with some of the features on my camera, which is still quite new to me.

Later in the afternoon we dropped by the northern end of Crummock water before returning to base for hurried downloading and image selection before the evening meal.

A good start to the week.
