Clog maker

It has rained ALL day, pretty much a wash out. We went to Breeda in the car, not knowing that everything is shut on Mondays in Holland. So drove back to our local village where we had lunch and did some shopping.

The rest if the afternoon we just mooched around, spending time in the marquee chatting, reading and knitting.

Our evening entertainment was a clog maker. I have always wanted a pair of traditional clogs, so bought some. They will take some getting used to. There was also a display of folk dancing quite sweet really although I thought they could have got a bit more audience participation. Hoping for dry weather tomorrow
