Moorhen ?

Come on you Ornothologists, is this a Moorhen? I was down by Wotton Brook, with Jonty, this morning and it's usually full of Ducks. This wading bird was stood on a lump of concrete preening itself.
It's been a LOOOOOOONNNNGGGGGG time since I knew all about wild birds when I was in the Scouts, about 50 years too long!
