I'm waiting for my new desktop to arrive before I go back to hunching over my keyboard to edit. The current sluggishness of my laptop is too much to bear. In the last year that I've been out of the loop Creative Cloud has become such a resource hog that what once was perfectly rapid to edit with now seems obsolete.

I hate this aspect of photography. When I started, i could get perfectly good results from 20 year old gear and 50 year old darkroom kit. Now, it's keep up or go home. It's expensive, not to mention exhausting. Except i did just mention exhausting. /Sigh
