The Phoenix Rises

Our parking space was free so we spent the night at the point and were up at first sparrow cough. Not a bad wild camping spot.

The Isle of Skye was looking bonnie.
The dolphins were too far away to photograph, so you will just have to believe me that they were there. The seals were very intrigued as to why we were up at that hour. So was Ally!

A day of visiting and a bit of planting, grass cutting at Larach Sithe. After a quick shower we dashed to the village hall plant sale and took some extra plants to be donated for the cause they were raising cash for. I even won a small box of chocolates in the raffle. Just what I "need", but they were very delicious. ( I did share them.)

We ended up having a late dinner over the hill at Kintail lodge as the local bar meals were fully booked up. It turned out to be a great call. We had a lovely meal and we had a fantastic view of a male Hen Harrier as we climbed the Glen.

Back to our parking spot for another lovely night at the point.

It's a wonderful life....... away from the other life. (work).
