Wild camp

Sienna took herself off for a 3 day / 2 night wild woodland camp...with 19 other 'wild' children. My husband and I were not allowed...shame!

It was a weekend of fire lighting (without matches), green wood carving, shelter building, animal tracking, barefoot walking, arts and crafts, nature ID, campfire cooking and games and storytelling around the campfire. Can you see why we wanted to go!

This is the kids settling down at arrival before we were shooed away. We treated ourselves to coffee at a new cafe and enjoyed the chance to chat without an interruption from a child...maybe it was all for the best this child only camp!
