Buoyx

I got the bus to Birsay and, on the way, saw a report on my phone of a pod of orcas at Marwick. I spent several hours looking from Marwick Head but no luck (as per normal). Plenty of guillemots, razorbill, kittiwakes on nests, small numbers of puffins, two fledged ravens etc. The sea campion and spring squill are now out on the cliffs alongside the thrift.
