Nitchia...

We did a butterfly release at the weekend but not all of them seemed ready. One couldn't fly all that well whilst the other kept turning upside down.

Today was the second attempt. Of the two, Sir George Washington the Third managed to take flight and disappeared. Nitchia (pictured here) however still couldn't keep in the air. They managed to get her back in the net and will give him another couple of days before trying again.

They also found another catterpillar (named Tinsey) in the garden and luckily I still had the food so it's installed and we'll see how it goes.
