Lehman Caves

Joe and I went to Great Basin National Park  and poked around.  The scenery is fantastic but the top of the mountain was closed off because of snow.  We went to the caves the following day and loved it.   Mr. Lehman used to charge 1 dollar per person in those days and encouraged them to break off a stalactite and take it home to show their friends.    In one of the caves , people wrote on the ceiling by the burn of their candles.  They have dates from 1892 and as recent as 2015!   The Ranger was not happy about that one!!    having a good time and will catch up soon I hope!
