Buddha, the Owl and the Swan

Had a pottering sort of day -  a bit of housework, paperwork, a bit of shopping and a walk around the Links Pond, then a bit of gardening. The blip is the Buddha that guards my garden pond. He needs a bit of a facelift and a new shawl  -  one of these days he might get one.  The inset Swan is in recognition of his qualities. You see once the Owl was the King of Birds, but the Birds took offence at some of its anti-social behaviour.  They then decided the handsome, graceful Swan should be their King.
