Red, Green

Complimentary Colours - Red and Green.

I first came across complimentary colours when we were decorating our house. A book I cannot recommend enough when it comes to selecting colour schemes is 'The Colour Scheme Sourcebook'. Apart from providing the reader with the basic concepts of colour matching, it gives plenty of ideas and inspiration for decorating rooms according to a colour scheme.

As this image shows, nature does it characteristically all the time.
