Name that bird...

I'm no ornithologist so I really have no idea - an egret? Answers on a postcard (or in the comments section below please). 

What I do know is it certainly caught my eye cycling into work this morning along the Forth and Clyde Canal. I guess it was enjoying a quite bank holiday morning - well, until I came along!
