Ten Green Bottles (not quite!)
Beautifully sunny, the wind is down to a breeze this morning and making it more pleasant.
We went into Roquetas this morning for a card from Arkrites and the usual coffee. We were wondering whether it would be open or not as Ken who owned the shop had a serious health scare earlier in the year and had decided to put it up for sale. (He is about the same age as Al!) However, it was and in fact has been sold, so the new owner was in telling us what he was intending to do - setting up a website to order on line!
We then went for a walk on the promenade and there is work being done to extend the cycle path so that it extends right from the one end to the Port - 20 some km (all on the flat). All the sunbeds were in place, lots of people walking and sunbathing - summer appears to have stared there.
I took this photo in a garden just on the promenade. I asked the man and women if I could take a photo - they are German. They were whirling round in the wind so some kind of decorative bird deterent? Obviously home made but they did look bright and cheery in the sun.
Bowling this afternoon and then a relaxing evening in front of the TV - Game of Thrones.
