Though it is pleasing to be able to find an issue with someone else's system that they appear to have missed it's annoying to have to do so in the absence of their having considered requirements other than their own during earlier stages of things when issues were more preventable and not withholding useful setup-related informations until just over a week until the problems become practical rather than theoretical. At least one of them's definitely noticed now.

I shall really have to revise my internal lookup table of relaxing places to walk at lunchtime if people are going to insist on allowing their ill-behaved manky dogs to roam freely without leads along the path beside the river with the result that they head straight for my legs and threaten to smear their foul mouth-liquids thereupon. At least now that the leaves are mostly turning to mush on the path rather than blocking the limited light from above it's nice and brightish again at river-path-level. Unfortunately dogshit is less distinguishable from half-rotted leaves as it would be from clean dry fresh-fallen leaves or no leaves at all which might have meant that there was something unpleasant dissolved amongst the splodges of mucked splashed about my ankles which I forgot to wipe off when I returned to the office and which would have been visible to anyone peering at the gap between my shoe-tops and trouser-cuffs during the afternoon.
