Along the Mighty Clutha

Yay, a Monday without rain.  After 3 weeks of cancelled walks, at last the sky cleared, and the 14 of us were able to go for a walk without getting wet.  In fact it was a super walk, and we even had our lunch sitting in the sun (extra).  +8C.

The Reko track takes us along the banks of the Clutha River, heading north, on the true right of the river.  We walked from Shortcut Road to Oxbow, where we had our lunch.  We then walked back to the cars and had a very welcome cuppa at one of the local cafe's.  Snow in tomorrow's forecast!!  Just under 10k's.
