Multiply by 50,000

There are portions of 5 motorcycles in this photo.  If you multiply that by 50,000, you will have the estimated number of motorcyclists in the Myrtle Beach area for the long Memorial Day holiday period.  We have not driven on a regular street for several days - only freeways and back roads, since the traffic is so heavy.  Memorial Day weekend draws thousands of tourists to the beach and the bikers are an addition to those folks.  The other huge bike week ended a few days ago.  This area hosts two very large biker rallies within just over 2 weeks.  The first rally is mostly Harley riders and the second is mostly riders of what they call crotch rockets.  The latter are very fast on the streets and usually travel in large groups.
