Peony

J  and H left before 11. J for France, H for Ryton.  I headed for #2 son's to murder weeds and cut grass. And the hair lifted and the sun came out!

B acknowledged home to tend my garden. Started to pot up the hanging baskets etc. It meant ditching some of the violas which is a shame as they are still flowing so well.

It was a beautiful afternoon and pretty warm in my xx helper ed back garden. Rose was drunk, grass was cut and I sat outside, tired and exhausted till after 7. The peony glowed in the light of the evening sun.

Back inside I watched the haar return really quickly, drifting up and down the street and I gave up on new 'Top Gear' after 5 minutes and fell asleep to 'Wallander'.
