Windmill Down
That old NNW wind just keeps blowing. This was a climbing plant I noticed on Windmill Down that I've not seen before - a garden escapee perhaps.
The extra is of chez nous with a carpet of bird's foot trefoil in the foreground on the South Foreland.
Put out the courgette and squash plants today. Saw the sweetcorn second planting is finally through. No wonder the old timers stuck to the old time reliable vegetables and didn't bother with the new fangled.
I can't see anything about our Coastguard chopper incident yesterday. But it seems to have been involved later out at Dymchurch near Dungeness late in the night where 20 souls were left to their fate by traffickers.
