Love
Ben stayed over last night and we planned, as we knew it would be an early start, to drive to Murthly to the Bluebell Wood. It was still in all it's splendour, but a week earlier would have us see it at it's optimum beauty. The smell was intoxicating, heavy perfume and the only noise was the birds chirping in the dappled light from the sun.
Ben would run, climb trees and then have a rest on a fallen tree trunk so took this opportunity to take this picture. Quite challenging as it was really contrasty with the light and shade.
Afterwards we picked up GG and headed to Pillars to sit in the Strawberry Fields with scones and coffee. Ben run round with Breagh who really just wanted to sit in the shade.....
Home later and then trying to block out first day back to work tomorrow after a wonderful two weeks holiday. ... I suppose working is the reason I can go on holiday, I'm going over that in my head....
