Garmin

Having joined Mme A and Ferelith last night at the house of good friends near Durham, this morning I cycled 40km south with them. Unfortunately the initial route in the Garmin wasn't what was expected, so it was good that we'd borrowed an OS map from our friends. 

From Neasham we went our separate ways, the ladies continued on to Thirsk and I nipped into Darlington to take a train back to Durham. There I found that Miss K had had a good day with our friends and their three girls [short cycle ride to a farm and back]. I then spent a happy few hours helping to rid the donkey paddock of ragwort [which causes liver damage if they eat it], learning about keeping chickens [they have 12] and eating scones baked by the girls, before we drove back home in beautiful sunshine. Miss K now wants to keep chickens.
