All the fun of the unfair

As they made their way round the rugby fête, Andy and George saw the hoop-la stall as yet another chance to compete with each other. 

Andy went first, didn't win, and wandered off with his mate. George too failed to land his hoop anywhere near la. 

However the guy running the stall (whose son plays in Andy's team) gave George a prize and told him to tell his brother that he'd won it. George didn't need telling twice.
