Scarecrows

Thank you to everyone who's put Mr Bee onto the 2nd page of popular, very very kind.

This bank holiday weekend is Scarecrow Weekend in our village (due to the fast road our few houses in the wood can't take part) and this year the theme has been discovery and exploration. All told there are 28 scarecrows dotted around the village. With the weather being set to glorious, both the cafe and chocolate factory open and the church also selling teas and cakes it seemed positively busy when we ambled around with my Aunt and Uncle.
In a village with a lot of community spirit, as well as a fair few retired folk with time on their hands, there's usually a good offering - so today's blip is a collection of those we thought were best, official judging is tomorrow.
