Haddo House

Had a trip to Haddo House today . it was formerly home to Lord and Lady Aberdeen but is now owned by the National Trust for Scotland . Its boasts plenty of space for BBQs and picnics , a lake to walk around , a decent café and a concert hall which is frequently used for musical evenings and amateur dramatics .
it was packed today as Ellon Rotary had an event for dog lovers - I cannot remember the last time I've seen so many Golden Retrievers .
We'd a coffee , walk round the lake , and then a decent bowl of soup. Well worth a visit ... and oh yes - the sun came out .
