Phew!

It's been a hot day here. I am not complaining. We decided yesterday to pull up the drawbridge, try out our new garden bench and leave the roads to the tourists. And that's what we did.

We could hear the Pipe Band very faintly. I think that means they were in the band room practicing (busy times coming up with Festivals and Common Ridings). It would have been no fun marching up and down in a bearskin today.
