Rhino

We went across the Links to watch some of the Edinburgh Marathon - at this spot we were only about 20 min from the start for the elite athletes, but there were still hundreds coming through half an hour later. We didn't spot Dotty , but were able to give a cheer to a former OU colleague who was making what looked like great progress. There seemed to be more serious looking runners than in previous years and fewer running in humorous costumes - but I did like this "Save the Rhino" personn (gender impossible to detect). I wasn't quick enough to catch its front view where there was a horn and it looked less like a giant woodlouse and more like a rhino.

Exhilarated by seeing all this amazing effort, we then went up to the allotment and put in a rather too ambitious shift, having to crawl home after like a pair of folk who'd just ill-advisedly run a marathon without proper preparation. (I think there may have been a few of those.....)
