About two weeks ago I was over the moon at seeing my first hummer hovering around my new fuchsia plant. I quickly put out my feeder to attract more. But alas, I saw no more - either at the plant or the feeder!
Then yesterday I got the bright idea of moving my feeder to a less enclosed space, and here is the result!
I took this snap through my glass door so as not to spook the wee one. But once the summer weather settles in, I hope to sit on my porch enough to habituate the hummers to my presence.
