Intrepid
We dropped Travellersjoy at the airport and then walked at Deerness, a clifftop route the guidebooks like to label as "perilous". It's not unless you step off. The haar (mist) came in from the sea making everything very atmospheric. Here is Herself ascending to the Broch, a Viking/Iron Age settlement, now mostly inhabited by seabirds. A handy chain rail had been provided.
Extras - the strangely named 'Gloup', a natural sea inlet and more steps.
