I told him to imagine that each shot cost 50p and he should only take '50p shots' as a result.

It seemed to work as he weighed up the merits of various swan, duck, boat and other assorted shots before dismissing them as ,'20p shots'.

We all sat outside and had a cool refreshing drink at Brigstow bar.

We plan to repeat the same later this afternoon with the relatives.
