Flood protection!?

I drove past a camp site today and looking over their hedge as I drove past, spotted these lodges apparently suspended a few feet above the ground - wondered if this was protection against future flood risk.

(I think they will get lowered after the plumbing work underneath is completed, but it made me chuckle)
