Sparkling

22C says the local weather station. Didn't feel quite that warm outside. Could we be getting used to the warmer weather! Maeve the Deerhound did look rather 'wabbit' when we got back from our walk and she had lots of freshly drawn water to drink. She didn't lie down in her favourite cool spot though so couldn't have been too hot.

Not much to report from the walk today. There were some Martins swooping around the tops of the cereal crops as we walked down the bridle path. Two people on the beach. One walking alone, and the other with two dogs. Two people at the car park at Westhaven with two Spaniels. The people were having a seat and the spaniels were drinking water which had been poured from a flask into a metal bowl ... very thoughtful!

Back to Sea Glass today. Completely unplanned. Two large pieces found within a yard of each other almost as soon as Maeve and I got to the wet sand. I just picked them up and gave them a quick dust off and popped them onto some small pebbles for the shot. Sparkling in the sun :-)

I almost forgot ... this morning there was greenhouse watering and some weed killing around the 'whirly', and later this afternoon there was front lawn mowing !
