Retreat

It was all about colour at The Botanics - rhododendrons and azaleas, mecanopsis and iris in full fig - which makes the Scottish native plant area by the rockery seem almost dull if you don't know it.

On a day of full sun, bluest of skies, and all the colours possible among flowers, this is a calm, restful part of the Gardens.
