This weekend is the 100th anniversary of the sea battle, the Battle Of Jutland. One of the worst battles at sea ever.
As if any battles are good.
War still remains one of the most futile, senseless, selfish, things that any government can do. Can't see it ever changing in the next millennia.
This is Robert Smart from Cummingston, a place not too far from us.
He was my Mother's uncle. Her mother's brother. He died at Jutland.
