The Next Step

With 1 exam to go, Ms H is getting a bit of free time away from the books. I persuaded her to perform the two songs she is considering for an upcoming music afternoon. She doesn't sing to us that much so there is always that moment when I go, oh, I like this :-)

She had also been muttering about writing a song, although I had not really heard evidence of that around the house. So it took a bit of further persuasion but she agreed to sing it... and I was taken aback again. It had words and a melody, and they go together well... as she said before it, it needs a bit of work to link it all together but I was impressed with what she had achieved so far. 

Not having been that creative myself, I wasn't sure if she'd be able to make that next step but glad she has and hope it continues!
