Worth waiting for

At last the first of our poppies has flowered, I have been waiting for it all week and at last it has popped open! My favourite flower. I see from my photos this time last year that the poppies were almost over by now ... Funny how we all thought flowers were going to be early because of the warm winter but it seems now we are back on track.
