Dew Ponds

Today I went for a walk on the South Downs with friends to celebrate my friend Ali's 50th. The walk started at Hassocks with rain but luckily ended with lovely sunshine and a picnic at Stanmer Park that included the my first ever eating of a vegan birthday cake. And very nice it was too.

During the walk ( the rainy part) we came across some mountain bikers sheltering under a tree by a Dew Pond. Shortly after the clouds parted and the sun arrived. Yay! But I had forgotten sunblock so am now a little burnt. Nay! :(
