Growing

I popped up to the allotment this afternoon to check the plants. The peas and beans are doing well so I spent a little time watering and weeding. My more energetic work being done in my garden today - cutting and trimming the lawn and sowing more grass seed. With the warmth and sunshine the plants are really starting to take off and I am taking great pleasure in watching each one grow and come into bloom. This week my geums have come into flower and my deep burgundy geraniums are weaving their way around the flower beds. The apples in the Christmas Pearman apple tree are just starting to set - exciting.
