Green Sandpiper(Tringa ochropus)

The end of May sees this little Green Sandpiper leave Oman, only to return sometime later in early July. This is according to the book 'Common Birds of Oman' by Jens & Hanne Eriksen. A lecture on Tuesday by the Eriksens is going to be all about Oman's birds and migration, so I will be finding out what Green Sandpipers do over this time!
