If you go down to the woods today,
You're sure of a big surprise.-  you won't see any seals!

Over the last few years a large haul-out of seals, largely grey seals, has developed at the mouth of the Ythan estuary. Numbering in the thousands, they naturally attract a lot of visitors, many of whom arrive in the wrong car-park. This sign, erected by Scottish Natural Heritage, serves to send them off in the right direction.
