Hill Farm

Today we visited the Welsh hill farm of Gareth Wyn Jones in the area of the Carneddau mountains in North Wales. We were treated to a demonstration of sheep herding by his amazing Border Collies and he articulated many of the issues that affect farming and the countryside. His family has owned their farm for 350 years. Quite the history. The afternoon was spent visiting a medieval castle called Caernarfon Castle and then driving back to Conwy via Snowdonia National Park where the skies opened up.
